The James Marshall Foundation help young people who need support for education and career development opportunities by awarding grants. They help young people under 25 years old.
In 1722 a local land owner, James Marshall, left a remarkable gift in his Will. He created a charity that would support young people, living in the Parishes of Wheathampstead and Harpenden to obtain employment.

JMF use income generated from assets owned by the Foundation to provide funding for educational needs, to help build confidence, character and self-esteem along with career development opportunities.
