Flamstead Village School
Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Flamstead Village School
We take the upmost care of our pupil and staff wellbeing.
We strengthen our children's mental health by using a programme called myHappymind and have weekly wellbeing sessions.
We support our families with a parent library containing books to support wellbeing that all parents can borrow form the School Office.
We also have a My Happy Mind Parent App which all parents can access to support their child's mental health and the wellbeing of the whole family.
There are resources exclusively for parents whose children attend a myHappymind School. They can be accessed in a web browser, or on the dedicated App.
We are proud to announce that we are a myHappymind Bronze Accredited School!
This means that, as a school, we consider the mental health and wellbeing of our children as one of our top priorities. We have created a whole-school culture that helps build our children’s resilience, confidence, and self-esteem, as well as teaching them how to self-regulate during stressful times.
This Accreditation badge has been awarded thanks to all the effort our staff, children, governors, and parents have put in to bring the lessons of myHappymind to life across our school.
