Nursery Admission September 2026 timeline

For children who will turn 3 on or before 31st August 2026

November 2025	Hertfordshire County Council send every eligible child an 'Applying for Nursery School/Class Leaflet'. Visits to the school can be arranged.
1st November 2025	Nursery application system opens
6th March 2026	Nursery application system closes Applications can be accepted at any point after this date, but will be dealt with after on-time applications.
16th March 2026	Nursery places are offered to families by this date via email and letter.
24th April 2026	Deadline for families to accept Nursery places in writing (by email is sufficient)

Missed the application deadline? Not a problem!

We can continue to accept late applications and allocate Nursery places to children, based on availability.
