Learning Environments and the Curriculum

Teachers will create a seating plan for their classrooms with named table/seating areas for the children to minimise movement around the classroom. All tables will be facing the front of the classroom.

Equipment such as pens and pencils will not be shared and each pupil will be allocated their own equipment. Some resources can be shared within a class bubble but resources will not be shared across different class bubbles unless it has been effectively cleaned between uses.

Classrooms will continue to be well-ventilated and outdoor learning will take place where possible.

PE will only take place outdoors for the Autumn term.  We ask that you provide your child with a dark coloured tracksuit to wear during the cooler months, along with their usual PE kit.  As we are minimising visitors to the school we will not be using our outside PE coaches for the Autumn term. Our most up to date information is that swimming lessons will not take place in the Autumn term but we will keep you informed if this changes.

Homework and reading books will be sent home from September.
