Nursery Admission September 2027 timeline

For children who will turn 3 on or before 31st August 2027

November 2026	Hertfordshire County Council send every eligible child an 'Applying for Nursery School/Class Leaflet' Visits to the school can be arranged
2nd November 2026	Nursery application system opens
22nd March 2027	Nursery application system closes Applications can be accepted at any point after this date, but will be dealt with after on-time applications
19th April 2027	Nursery places are offered to families via email and / or letter
26th April 2026	Deadline for families to accept Nursery places in writing (by email is sufficient)

Missed the application deadline? Not a problem!

We can continue to accept late applications and allocate Nursery places to children, based on availability.
