Nursery Admission September 2025 timeline

For children who will turn 3 before 31st August 2025

November 2024	Hertfordshire County Council send every eligible child an 'Applying for Nursery School/Class Leaflet'. Visits to the school can be arranged.
1st November 2024	Nursery application system opens
7th March 2025	Nursery application system closes (Applications can be accepted at any point after this date, but will be dealt with after on time applications)
17th March 2025	Nursery places are offered to families by this date via email and letter.
22nd April 2025	Deadline for families to accept Nursery places in writing (by email is sufficient)

Missed the application deadline? Not a problem!

From the 22nd April 2025 onwards, we can continue to accept applications and allocate nursery places to children, based on availability.
